New Jersey Ashram Renovation Fund

In 1997, Shri Mataji bought a house in Ridgefield Park, NJ to be an ashram. She made sure it had good transit connections to New York City. The ashram opened in January 1998, 25 years ago.

Shri Mataji visited the NJ ashram in 2000. Her bedroom is now the meditation room, and the meditations there are like no other place in the world.

The ashram has seen the birth of realized children, many pujas, and hosted the golden builders who built Shri Mataji’s house next door. Now major renovations are needed, including:

- Water leakages in the basement
- Deck floor, to prevent further sinking and water accumulation when it rains.
- Updating the floors in Shri Mataji’s bedroom and the meditation hall

The support of the entire U.S. collective will ensure this sacred place continues to be a place to live, meditate, and worship.
